Lincoln
Lincoln passed away on June 30th, 2002, after battling Cushing's Disease and kidney failure. This senior was sweet and feisty until the end. While we are sad he has passed, we are blessed to have loved and spoiled this beautiful boy!

Dallas
May 26, 2022 - Dallas came to rescue with diabetes and Cushing's disease, but he was also urinating blood and clots. He was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in multiple organs including his right kidney causing the blood and clots. We knew our time together was limited, but Dallas didn't he was sick. Just yesterday he was running after the lure coursing flag, playing fetch and rolling in the grass. Little did we know he would become neurological and have seizure activity so we decided to give this beautiful, sweet and feisty little man his angel wings. He was only with us a short time but he made a big impact on our lives and took a piece of our heart to heaven with him. We know he is running free and happy and the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss our cute, little cuddly teddy bear!

Rusty
Rusty our dear precious boy. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. January 14th 2021

Greta
After Greta's MRI results last week we spoke to our vet and the neurologist in depth about her. They all said the same thing, she shouldn't have been allowed to live like this for so long. We saved her with the hope of her condition being treatable so she could have a long, quality life. We save all our dogs with the hope of fixing them, and unfortunately that isn't always able to be done. It isn't fair to keep a dog in a bubble and fear that every move she makes could cause brain trauma or even death. It isn't fair for a dog to only spin in circles and have jaw pain from a malformation. It isn't fair that breeders think mixing a large breed with a small breed is ethical. It isn't fair that Greta was born this way. So we created a bucket list for our precious girl. She smelled flowers, sniffed and licked all the treats at a pet store, had a huge Wendy's meal that included a chocolate frosty, and days full of snuggles, kisses, and love. Then we gave this beautiful baby her angel wings while kissing her head and telling her we loved her and she is free from her horrid prison of a body. Greta went peacefully in our arms and we know she was welcomed to the rainbow bridge by all those before her for us to all be reunited again some day. 12/22/2021

Sky
10/11/2021 Today was a heartbreaking day as we said goodbye to Sky, our beautiful beloved lioness. We have struggled to keep Sky healthy since she arrived in our care on February 24th. One thing Sky loved was food! It didn't matter what it was, she would eat it with passion so when her appetite dwindled we knew something was really wrong. She didn't take her meds or eat all weekend so we knew it was time as her eyes said she was tired. Before we went to the vet we went to Sky's favorite place and enjoyed lots of goodies. She ate bacon, French fries, and even some chocolate frosty. Unfortunately she only took a bite of each and then spit the rest out. This truly broke our hearts because Wendy's was Sky's favorite place. We loved Sky more than we could ever say and our hearts are shattered that we had to say goodbye. Run free you dear beautiful girl, we hope your owner was at the gates of the Rainbow Bridge to welcome you with open arms and all your favorite foods!
