Peace Love and Poms Rescue

Sissy is one special little lady that is looking for a forever home where her quirks are adored!  Sissy was born 6 years ago the runt of the litter and needed to be hand fed because mom pushed her out of the pack of puppies.  Unfortunately, she has some congenital issues.  Sissy has a form of dwarfism which caused her legs to be super short and she has the cutest little shuffle, but it doesn't slow her down one bit!  Sissy also has vision impairment where her left eye sees okay, but she is blind in her right eye.  Her mouth is also very tiny and she had some issues that our vet took care of during her dental and she is able to eat and drink better now.  Sissy loves attention, but she also loves to growl sometimes when she is getting scratches.  It is nothing to be afraid of though because she is harmless.  Sissy does live with other dogs, and sometimes when she gets excited and fire up she runs around chasing them and growling.  The foster dogs she lives with know that she means no harm, so if there are other dogs in the home they must not be reactive.  Sissy is pee pad trained, loves car rides, and likes soft comfy beds.  She also loves to snuggle in the human bed.  Sissy will need a fenced yard as she does not do well with a harness and leash.  Sissy cannot go to a home with children or big dogs to protect her from injury.  We want a home where she can be dotted on all day and night.  Sissy is pretty healthy considering all her congenital issues, but does need careful protocols followed for any future surgeries and she will need put on a ventilator while under anesthesia.  Are you looking for a little 8 pound girl that will steal your heart the second you meet her?  Then Sissy is the girl for you!
