Ray Ray came to us from a home where he was crated 20 plus hours a day and he was blind from early onset cataracts. He took a lot of love, time, and understanding for the first week in rescue, but then he thrived! Ray Ray received medical care for the first time in his life, was neutered, and he even had his vision restored. At 7 years old and 12 pounds, he is finally ready to live life to the fullest. Snuggling is his favorite thing to do, and he loves his toys. Ray Ray even plays with the younger dogs in the home, but he does prefer female dogs as some male dogs he likes to be the fun police with, but not all of them. Ray Ray loves car rides and walks, is crate trained (but he prefers sleeping with his humans) and leash trained. He was doing well with housetraining but a UTI set him backwards Ray also enjoys spa days! He allows all grooming and even falls asleep during groom time. so he wears belly bands while he gets into the swing of things. He also eats gastrointestinal prescription food as his belly doesnt tolerate other types, but he can eat any good boy treats without issue. If you can give this beautiful boy 1 weeks to get to know you and settle in, he is going to be your loyal companion for life. All this guy needs is a committed family to enjoy his silly side and soak up all the love he has to give. To adopt Ray Ray, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption fee ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, blood work, xrays, neuter, dental, urine culture, cataract removal surgery, and all the love you can handle!
