Hello There, My name is Daisy Mae. I'm a 5 year old 18 pound Cockapoo with beautiful brindle coloring. I'm a shy girl, a walflower if you will. You see, I came from a scary place called a puppy mill, while I was there I had puppies taken away from me, so I have some trust issues with people when I first meet them. If you'd like to get to know a girl like me, you'll need to take it slow and easy. My foster family is showing me how nice life can be though, one step at a time. I prefer quiet places with no children, they frighten me with their loud voices and quick movements. Leashes, collars, and harnesses scare me, and I get scared easily by loud sounds so l'd love a big fenced yard to keep me safe and close. My foster family is large with several other pup-siblings, I get along well with them and even enjoy their company. l'd love a brother or sister I could snuggle up on the couch with and maybe they could teach me a few things. I'm still learning how to play with these things called "toys" but I love the things called "treats" and I will happily sit like a good girl for them! I also love being held and snuggled by my trusted people, and blankets are just perfect for me to lay on. I'm crate trained, and ride well in a car, though they are not my favorite, l'm great with other dogs and even cats! As you can tell I have some issues from my past, but I'm a quiet loving lady who just wants a forever home that will be patient and treat me kindly. No pupper is perfect, and I'm looking for someone to love me as I am and help encourage me to be the best "good girl"I can be.
