Peace Love and Poms Rescue

Freddie is a 17 pound 3 year old gorgeous boy looking for his forever home.  He has been in 4 different homes in his short life and the next one will be his final stop!  This guy is overweight so he needs to shed a few pounds yet, but he is working on it.  Freddie is leash trained, but we were told he is reactive on the leash.  We have never seen him react on walks or when in public places like the vet or pet friendly stores, he will bark at strangers, but he just wants attention so we are confident it was an owner error of reading his reactions wrong.  In fact, all the bad behaviors we were told about have not been seen during Freddie's stay with PLPR. He loves to be with his people so he must be allowed to sleep in bed with the humans and he would love to be a full time office assistant with an owner who works from home.  To avoid any further issues with Freddie losing another home, he does require a fenced yard and he cannot live in a condo or connected type home because he got kicked out of the last place due to neighbors complaining of his barking.  He doesn't like when his people leave him so we have successfully crate trained him to avoid any potential issues when the humans leave.  He is never destructive, but he will bark and chase to go with you.  If he could have a family where he is always with them, that would be Freddie's dream life, but if that isn't possible, using a crate is necessary. This guy is completely house trained, knows commands, loves toys, is very agile, does steps, gets along with other small dogs, and he even enjoys a little playtime with some of the female dogs in the home.  His energy level is perfect for working from home pawrents, he is completely healthy, and his chompers will be freshly polished in time for a new family.
