Mackie is a stunning 11-pound, gorgeous Chocolate Merle Pomeranian Daschund mix who we believe is about 5 years old or a little younger. Mackie was a stray who was traumatized by an officer using a catch pole to transfer him to a transport van. Thankfully, he is overcoming his past and becoming a loving, playful boy! Mackie is house trained, crate trained, leash trained beautiful boy who loves other dogs. He does take time and space to warm up to new people and is head shy for a few weeks while he learns to trust. Once he gets to know you, he will sing for attention, dance with joy, and snuggle his people. He does need a fenced yard since he needs a potty area while he adjusts to his new family. He cannot go to a home with children as he can become overwhelmed with noises and fast movement. This boy can only get better from here and he will make a wonderful addition for the right home!
