Tommy is being fostered in Falmouth, MA and is a lovely 2-year-old, 10 pound Pomeranian, American Eskimo, and Papillion who was surrendered by his family just before Christmas due to his under-socialization and hyperreactivity. Now that he has moved out of the city and is back on anxiety medication, he is flourishing! Every day Tommy comes farther out of his shell, revealing a sweet, silly and playful personality. Tommy adapts well to a routine, and would be a great companion for both an active or relatively sedentary household. Overall, Tommy is extremely affectionate and loves nothing better than snuggling with his humans or wrestling with his Pomeranian foster brother. Overnight, he crates beautifully, and if you are so inclined, he will let you sleep until 8am! Due to separation anxiety/distress, Tommy would be best suited for a calm household where the member(s) are retired or work from home most of the time. He would also benefit from having at least one other (size appropriate) canine companion. Due to fear aggression, young children and large dogs are not advised for his forever home. To adopt Tommy, please complete an adoption application at peacelovepoms.rescuegroups.org. The $350 adoption donation includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, bloodwork, microchip, neuter, and all the love you can handle!
