Simon is an adorable 5 month old 7 pound puppy looking for his forever home! Simon was saved from a puppy mill after not being sold, and sadly he displays puppy mill behavior of being fearful especially of humans. He will need a patient family that uses treats to win him over because food is the way to this boys heart. Simon LOVES other dogs and would really like a young dog in his forever home to play with and show him the ropes. Despite his rough start, he is a typical playful puppy who loves to run around, play with toys, and get into things he shouldn't, so he will need close supervision and a home that is puppy proofed. Simon is working on house training and does well going potty outside. He will need a consistent schedule to continue working on house training. He is crate trained and should continue using a crate when no one is home or no one is closely supervising him to ensure he is kept safe. Simon will need help accepting a harness and leash as he adjusts to his new home. He also needs more exposure to car rides as he does get car sick, but cernia helps while he adjusts. Once Simon settles into his new home he would benefit from puppy classes and continued socialization so he can over come his fears and learn that humans are good.
